    FEMCI Labelled with ICRA

    WELCOME!

Thank You for Another Successful Workshop!

The workshop presentations are online, along with the participating vendors.

Welcome to the third annual FEMCI (Finite Element Modeling Continuous Improvement) Workshop. The FEMCI Workshop 2002 on Innovative Solutions to Challenging Problems was held at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center on May 22 and 23, 2002. The workshop is hosted by FEMCI and the Mechanical Systems Analysis and Simulation Branch (Code 542) of the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.

The goals of the workshop are to bring together engineers from the aerospace and general engineering community to discuss and exchange knowledge and experience in the fields of finite element modeling and structural mechanics and to establish a network among analysts. The emphasis of the workshop is on innovative solutions to challenging structural analysis problems encountered in aerospace hardware development and test programs.

For 2002, the format of the workshop again included both podium presentations and a poster/vendor session. Day One consisted of an informal afternoon poster/vendor session and reception. Day Two was formal podium presentations during both the morning and afternoon sessions.
